A late bloomer who found his passion for dance with his wife, Billie, and pro-am partners Iliana and Cassidy Don started his dance journey in his late 60’s, originally taking lessons with his wife, Billie. Now, he not only dances with her but also shares a pro-am partnership with Iliana and Cassidy. His dedication has led him to perform in numerous showcases and compete in amazing ballroom dance competitions.
A lifelong dancer who rekindled her love for ballroom and Latin dancing in her 60’s Billie, who started taking lessons alongside her husband Don, had years of dance training when she was a child. Now, she’s rediscovering her love for ballroom and Latin dancing. Billie’s captivating performances in showcases and competitions make her a joy to watch on the dance floor.
A spirited senior who made a splash with her unforgettable Mama Morton performance Marge, another senior who started dancing in her 60’s, has participated in numerous shows. She amazed everyone with her portrayal of Mama Morton in Cell Block Tango’s “When You’re Good to Mama.” Marge’s energy and enthusiasm make her a beloved presence in the studio.
A dedicated dancer who found joy and purpose in her lessons with teacher Shawn until her passing Cherie danced with her teacher Shawn for nearly 15 years before she passed away. She was a very classy lady who loved to learn the technique of dance. Cherie believed that dancing was what kept her going, and she looked forward to her lessons every single day. Her grace and skill were truly a joy to watch on the dance floor.
